On rat-tails
I’ll be honest, I find the hairstyle commonly known as the “rat-tail” interesting. I also find the motherfuckers that wear them even more so. Reason being is that they are rocking a style that wasn’t even ever cool to begin with, probably sometime in the very late 70s or 80s. I mean, even the much maligned “mullet” and the hairstyle hybrids it spawned had it’s day, but never was the “rait-tail” cool, let alone socially acceptable. And yet I still see “gentlemen” going for it. So, moral of this story, is good for them, they’re trailblazers of nothing, and assumingly are proud of it as well, otherwise, seriously, what’s the point? Cut that thing off. It’s weird and off-putting.
